1. Clinical features :
- Pain.
- Swelling.
- Structural deformity.
2. Mechanism :
- RTA/Road traffic accidents.
- Fall on outstretched hand.
- Direct trauma.
3. Diagnosis :
- X-Ray – To see the fracture type.
- CT scan – If the fracture is not clear in Xray.
- MRI – To see any vascular injury.
4. Treatment :
A. Non-Operative :
- Hanging cast.
- Coaptation splint.
- Shoulder spica cast.
- Shoulder brace.
- Thoracobrachial immobilisation.
B. Surgical methods :
- Open reduction and plate fixation.
- Flexible nails.
- Interlocking nails.
- External fixation.
5. Complications :
- Malunion and nonunion.
- Radial nerve injury.
- Vascular injury.
