This is a case of a 3 year old child presented in the emergency with symptoms of cough and cold. The ingestion of foreign body was done at 14-15 days back. During admission Pulse rate was 104/min, BP- 96/64 mmHg, SpO2 – 99.
1. Clinical Faetures :
- Respiratory distress
- Cough and cold
2. Diagnosis :
- X-Ray
- CT Thorax – Foreign body in left lower bronchus and distal lung is not collapsed.
3. Treatment :
- Bronchoscopy – The main treatment of any foreign body is removal by Bronchoscopy.
- Open Surgery – If bronchoscopy if not enough, then open surgery can be done to remove the foreign body.
